Sky Business Interview with Robert Lane, Managing Director, Eday Life Limited
Television presenter speaks with Robert Lane from eDay Life regarding plans to import and market battery powered electric vehicles for Australia. Lane claims that the market for electric vehicles in Australia is in its infancy, though battery powered vehicles could make up to 20% of the market in the near future. Lane claims that the target performance for the vehicles will be 150-160 kilometres per charge, which surpasses the current average use of 64 kilometres per day. Lane also comments on the possibility of selling the same car in three models, battery, LGP and petrol, with the aim to leasing the battery from the provider, which would revolutionise the industry.
